Centre for drug discovery and development was established in the year 2013. This centre is an initiative by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in the field of natural product drug discovery to strengthen the research activity in the ongoing anti TB and anti HIV drug development. This will provide a platform where all resources such as intellectual, scientific, industrial, and pharmaceutical manpower of our country could work in a joint effort to realize the dream discovery for common man’s ailments.
